Sri Lankan food and spice brand රස පදම® (Rasa Padhama) has received two category level honours at the BestWeb.LK 2026 Awards, winning the Bronze Award for Best Food & Beverage Website 2026 and the Best Mobile User Experience 2026 award in its category. The awards were presented at the BestWeb.LK 2026 Awards Ceremony, held on 12 August at Monarch Imperial, Colombo. Mrs. Fathima Ammaarah, Events & Delivery Coordinator, accepted the awards on behalf of Rasa Padhama.
The recognition comes just seven months after the launch of rasapadhama.lk in January 2026. The website was developed as more than an e-commerce platform, bringing together online shopping, recipes and food content with digital initiatives including Taste e-Points, Taste eShare and Taste ePromise. Rasa Padhama entered BestWeb.LK 2026 with the aim of evaluating its website against recognised industry standards. The two awards mark the brand’s first national level digital award recognition.
“We entered BestWeb.LK because we wanted to make sure our website was built to a proper standard and to see how our work stood among other Sri Lankan websites. We honestly did not expect recognition at this calibre, so receiving two honours is both a proud and humbling moment for us,” said Mufassir Hussain Mohamed, Founder / Concept Lead of Rasa Padhama.
“This achievement gives us confidence that the direction we have taken with digital innovation is the right one. Building the platform has been a long journey, and we see these awards not as an ending, but as encouragement to continue improving and creating better experiences for our customers.”
BestWeb.LK 2026 is the 16th edition of the annual web competition organised by the LK Domain Registry, recognising excellence among Sri Lankan websites across multiple industry categories.
Rasa Padhama Team feather said it will continue developing rasapadhama.lk with new digital experiences, food content and customer focused innovations as it works towards its ambition of building a trusted Sri Lankan culinary brand with a strong digital presence.
