British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Andrew Patrick visited the Masjid Al-Abrar Mosque in Beruwala, which is considered to be one of the oldest mosques in Sri Lanka.
During his visit, the Ambassador also inquired about the history of the mosque, its architecture and its contributions to social cohesion.
This event is an example to the world of inter-religious unity and the tradition of peaceful co-existence in the country.
