War Crimes Why no charges against America, Britain, France, Israel and India? By Latheef Farook

Since the collapse of former Soviet Union in 1989 the United States, Britain, other   NATO member countries, Israel and India ( state of Gujarat ) have committed war crimes after war crimes. The question is why no war crime charges against these countries?

US emerged as the sole super power with unprecedented military might in the known human history. People worldwide expected a period of peace and prosperity in view of US’s  so called claim of freedom, democracy and human rights.

However unfortunately for the humanity in general and the Muslims worldwide in particular  US whose economy is based on wars, killings, destruction and   exploitation, had its own agenda for global domination with ruthless and senseless military invasions.

Accordingly US substituted the Red Communists with Islam and Muslims as their new “public enemy number one”. Therein began the carefully orchestrated campaign against Islam and the dehumanisation of Muslims on a global scale to engineer conflicts and thrive on human misery.

Somalia

Under this program the US picked up Somalia in the Horn of Africa, regarded as the best democratic country in Africa in the 1960s and known for its peaceful transfer of power. However political fighting began in the early 1990s. The US entered the scene to use Somalia as an “experimental laboratory” to   implement its new grand design for the world – exploit chaos for regime change and install puppet regime.  Almost two decades later today Somalia is a killing field and a wasteland where people endure untold sufferings and misery. Today’s Somalia is a symbol of United Nation’s colossal failure as peacekeeper.

Algeria

In the June 1991 parliamentary elections in Algeria, the Islamic Salvation Front, FIS, won an overwhelming victory with 188 seats. However Algerians were not allowed to enjoy fruits of their struggle for freedom as the military, backed by the US, Europe and Arab dictators, installed a dictatorship headed by Mohamed Boudief.  Inevitably there were violent clashes which, killed around 180,000 people including, according to Prime Minister Ahmed Ouhiya, 17,000 FIS members, and turned this oil rich North African Muslim country into a killing field. France, deeply involved, backed Boudief dictatorship.

Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and US invasion of Iraq.

Then came the 1990/91 Kuwaiti crisis engineered by Zionist Jews and the US to destroy the Iraqi armed forces. Israel was alarmed at Iraqi emerging battle hardened in its eight year war with Iran. Thus Iraq needed to be destroyed. As usual US and NATO did the job of destroying Iraq on behalf of Israel.  US President George Bush Sr declared in the aftermath of the carnage that “Israel is safe and the oil flows uninterrupted”.

The massive US led Allied bombing cut off, within days, essential services such as water, electricity, sewage services and destroyed bridges, roads, schools, hospitals and civilian houses, causing considerable suffering to the helpless and voiceless people. The Allied forces tested their latest destructive military aircraft and deadly weapons on the Iraqi people who were roasted like lambs.

The carnage continued under the guise of precision bombing of military targets. The US conducted more than 100,000 bombing raids and dropped more than 200,000 tons of   bombs of all types .An official of the US force had stated that “the air force has been using a kind of scalpel on the Iraqis – cutting here, cutting there, and hoping they’ll bleed to death. What you see here is sledgehammers. We’ll beat their goddamn brains in”.

According to reports, TNT dropped throughout Iraq during the 43 days of bombing was six times more destructive than the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Former CIA Agent Philip Agee together with Ramsay Clerk, and former US attorney general turned peace activist, jointly stated that the US had committed war crimes by killing at least 125,000 Iraqis during the Gulf War air campaign.

 9/11 mystery

This was followed by September 11, 2001 events at the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon in Washington. Almost every independent inquiry, up to date revealed one thing- Muslims were not involved in the attack.

The post September 11 2001 ‘War on Terror’ has served to demonise the planet’s 1.4 billion Muslims, and facilitate the Bush administration’s rampage throughout the Middle East, the Gulf and beyond.  Today, Muslim communities in the US, Britain and Europe are being treated often with naked hostility. George Bush Jr exploited this tragedy as a launching pad for his global campaign to strike at the very root of political, military, economic, financial, social, religious and even cultural life of Muslims all over the world.

This is not something new, as it has always been part of the western design to distort the image of Islam and project Muslims as violent, barbaric, anti-democratic, anti-human and anti-rational. They regard Muslims collectively with contempt and scorn and turn them into “the enemy”.

Dismissing this   claim a German Muslim scholar asked: Who started the First World War? Muslims? Who started the Second World War? Muslims? Who killed about 20 millions of Aborigines in Australia? Muslims ? Who sent the nuclear bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki ? Muslims ?? Who killed more than 100 million Indians in North America ? Muslims ? Who killed more than 50 million Indians in south America ? Muslims ? Who took about 180 millions of African people as slaves and 88% of them died and was thrown in Atlantic ocean ? Muslims ? No , They weren't Muslims!!! First of all, You have to define terrorism properly… If a non-Muslim do something bad..it is crime. But if a Muslim commits same.he is terrorist… So first remove this double standard…then come to the point!!! , . . . .

However Bush and Blair rekindled anti Muslim feelings on a global scale and ‘Islamophobia’ spread like wildfire through the US and Canada to Europe and even to distant Australia. Even today the situation is so frightening that Wolfram Richter, the Economic Professor of the University of Dortmund, has expressed his fears that “they would do to Muslims what they did to Jews and the next holocaust would be against Muslims”.

George Bush Jr, in the footsteps of his equally war mongering father George Bush Sr, blackmailed countries and invaded Afghanistan within 27 days after 9/11 incidents and let loose his destructive military juggernaut on the poorest of the poor Afghans, pitiable people forced to forage for a single meal and who didn’t know where their next nibble would be coming from.

The US blitz turned what was already a battered and blemished land into a region of nearly complete devastation. In addition to human casualties, roads, homes, TV and radio stations and hospitals were destroyed. Carpet-bombing, missile attacks, and cluster bombs were responsible for killing thousands of civilians. Thousands more died from starvation or exposure, including children, who make up more than half of the population of Afghanistan.  Many of these impoverished victims knew little or nothing about politics. Indeed, a good many of them were not aware that a country called America even existed. The bombardment which wreaked unspeakable collateral damage on the nation was a violation of both international law and the United States law, set forth in the UN Charter, a treaty ratified by the US and therefore part of the supreme law of the land under the US Constitution. Who Cares?

Afghan warlords, political strongmen and gunmen supported by America and other nations committed horrendous human rights abuses in Afghanistan. The Dasht-i-Leili massacre in December 2001 during which some 3,000 Taliban prisoners were shot and/or suffocated to death in metal truck containers, while being transferred from Kunduz to Sheberghan prison in Afghanistan. Many of the prisoners died from suffocation inside the containers and some witnesses claimed that those who survived were ruthlessly raked with gunfire. The dead were buried in a mass grave.

Killings continue unabated even today. On 8 February 2012 eight Afghan civilians were killed in an airstrike in Eastern Afghanistan and U.S. Brigadier General Lewis Boone    and Air Commodore Mike Wigston regretted   the killings   at a press conference in Kabul.

On 27 February 2002, in the India state of Gujarat, Sabarmati Express train carrying Hindu pilgrims was set ablaze at the town of Godhra.  As proved later Muslims had nothing to do with it. Yet Muslims were attacked, killed and their property and businesses destroyed, depriving them of their livelihood.

Police investigations suggested that politically motivated plans had been made in advance to attack the train to trigger off the anti-Muslim pogroms which killed around 7,000 people, mainly Muslims, contrary to the estimated 1,000 deaths. Many Hindus privately told media personnel that there was something far more sinister in the attack as the violence was part of a careful plan by Hindu hardliners supported by the BJP to drive Muslims out of mainstream areas in Ahmadabad and other places. It was common that knowledge that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was the architect of this carnage .Almost ten years later today Narendra Modi, responsible for this massacre, continues to be the Chief Minister of Gujarat .This is the justice for minority Muslims in the world’s largest democracy-India.

Invasion of Iraq in 2003

In March 2003 George Bush, together with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, once again invaded Iraq accusing it of developing weapons of mass destruction which threatened America and Britain. The United Nations weapons inspectors reiterated that Iraq, battered by United Nations economic sanctions and previous US war, was neither developing nor possessing weapons of mass destruction. Perhaps George Bush wanted to complete the destruction of Iraq initiated by his equally war mongering father.

Bush and  Blair invaded Iraq .Thousands of innocent Muslim men, women, children and the aged were arbitrarily arrested, starved, tortured, raped and massacred, hundreds of thousands of Muslim families  were made refugees overnight in their own homes and lands, besides those unfortunate children who were thrown into the streets to grow up into a lawless and rebellious breed.

In its wake came the more shocking pictures of George Bush’s troops’ gang-raping Iraqi women. Among the victims were ordinary housewives, mothers and daughters – all brought up in a decently conservative society and whose cultural customs have always valued feminine purity as a prerequisite for marriage and a happily wedded life. Did the perpetrators of these appalling crimes ever stop to wonder that their victims were the same kind of women as their mothers and sisters at home?

Hundreds of top Iraqi professionals, academics and other intellectuals were systematically killed. Around May 2003, there were reports that Israel’s secret service Mossad arrived with a list of names and addresses of more than 1000 top intellectuals and killed them in their houses, offices, cars along the streets and other places. This included specialists in physical education, journalism, doctors, lawyers, architects, Arabic literature and the sciences and physicians; Baghdad University alone lost around eighty top professionals.

Gripped with fear, Iraqi professionals continue to flee the country in large numbers.

According to the UN’s International Leadership Institute, “84% of Iraq’s higher learning institutions have been burnt, looted or destroyed.” The assassinations and the flight of Iraqi professionals are the most criminal part of eliminating Iraqi society. They did not stop there! Even the dead and buried were not spared! Perhaps, in their cruelty Bush and Blair surpassed even the eleventh-century Mongol Emperor Genghis Khan who   turned Baghdad into a slaughterhouse.

In the city of Fallujah, a city of 300,000 people, they massacred innocent men, women, children and the aged who were observing the holy month of Ramadan Fast.    Bush turned Fallujah into a virtual slaughter house when he dropped internationally banned and improved version of napalm bombs which indiscriminately burnt and melted them to death.

Condemning these crimes Nobel laureate British Playwright Harold Pinter said “The invasion of Iraq was a bandit act, an act of blatant state terrorism, demonstrating absolute contempt for the concept of international law. The invasion was an arbitrary military action inspired by a series of lies upon lies and gross manipulation of the media and therefore of the public; an act intended to consolidate the American military and economic control of the Middle East masquerading – as a last resort – all other justifications having failed to justify themselves – as liberation. A formidable assertion of military force responsible for the death and mutilation of thousands and thousands of innocent people.

We have brought torture, cluster bombs, depleted uranium, innumerable acts of random murder, misery, degradation and death to the Iraqi people and call it ‘bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East’. Bush, described by American singer and activist Harry Belafonte as “the greatest terrorist in the world”, and his neo con team, backed by Tony Blair and others, committed these atrocities on Iraqis, who posed no threat to America or its Bush and Blair, Iraqis were considered sub-humans without any feelings or hearts and deserved to be raped, bombed and slaughtered as they also happen to be Muslims and live in the land blessed with oil resources which the US needed at any cost.  They said Bush and Blair should be put on trial along with the rest of their cohorts in The Hague.

Libya

Citing a report by  Middle East human rights groups Barry Grey said in the   website Global Research  that; there is  extensive evidence of war crimes carried out in Libya by the United States, NATO and their proxy “rebel” forces during last year’s war  .The report called for the investigation of evidence that NATO targeted civilian sites, causing many deaths and injuries. Civilian facilities targeted by NATO bombs and missiles included schools, government buildings, at least one food warehouse, and private homes.

The report  presented evidence of systematic murder, torture, expulsion and abuse  by the NATO-backed “rebel” forces of the National Transitional Council (NTC ).The investigators report savage and repeated beatings of prisoners held without trial or charges, the summary execution  and reports of “indiscriminate and retaliatory murders, including the ‘slaughter’ (i.e., throat slitting) of former combatants.”

Writing about the NATO troops gang raping of  Libyan women and girls Susan Lindauer, former US Asset covering Libya at the United Nations, had stated that” It's a story CNN won't report. Late at night there's a pounding on the door in Misurata. Armed soldiers force young Libyan women out of their beds at gun-point. Hustling the women and teenagers into trucks, the soldiers rush the women to gang bang parties for NATO rebels—or else rape them in front of their husbands or fathers. When NATO rebels finish their rape sport, the soldiers cut the women's throats.

Zionist Crimes

On top of all  Zionist Jews who migrated to Palestine, massacred Palestinians, driven them out to neighboring refugee camps and grabbed their lands to set up the racist entity of Israel, have committed numerous massacres since 1930s.The latest being the genocide in Gaza described by UN committee headed by Richard Goldstone, himself a pro Zionist Jew, as war crime. Almost all   Israeli leaders are known for their crime records and remain soaked in Palestinian blood.

The question is why no war crime charges against the perpetrators-US, Britain, France and other NATO countries, Zionist Jews and even the RSS Hindus. Perhaps they are above all laws?

In all these cases victims were Muslims. Despite all the sufferings, Muslims worldwide should be proud of themselves because they did not descend to this lowest form of barbarity perpetrated in recent times by US, UK, France, other NATO countries, Israel and Hindu fanatics. Ends
