In Galle, today (25th), the Thalapitiya Muhiyadeen Jummah Masjid, New Janaaza Hall has been opened to facilitate funeral arrangements for Muslim community members who have passed away. This initiative, organized by The Charities Network @tcncolombo, provides all necessary services free of charge for any Muslim deceased in Galle or elsewhere, whether they passed away at home or in a hospital.
All funeral arrangements, including transportation and burial or cremation as needed, will be provided at this location without cost, supported by volunteers from the community under the supervision of the Thalapitiya Muhiyadeen Jummah Masjid Committee.
