WikiLeaks documents torture in Iraq.
Newspapers headlining WikiLeaks story are seen on sale at a newsagent in Wimbledon, southwest London, on Saturday, October 23, 2010.
Two documents recently released by the whistleblower website WikiLeaks show that two people who were killed in Iraq in 2004 were probably tortured and mutilated before they died, according to the condition of the bodies.
One document recounts the discovery of "an unidentified corpse" in Fallujah "with apparent indications of mutilation and torture."
The victims probably died due to "trauma," the document says.
The other document says a dead man found in the vicinity of Baghdad "appears to have been tortured."
It stated that the victim's hands were tied behind his back but does not reveal exactly where the man was killed.
The documents are a part of the nearly 400,000 classified reports about the US-led war in Iraq published by WikiLeaks.
The documents, written by US soldiers during the war in Iraq, date from January 2004 to the end of 2009.
