Group Mosque Tours commenced on 25th November 2021 at the Kollupitiya Jumma Mosque after a long lull due to the Covid Crisis.
The Mosque Tour Program organised by the Centre for Islamic Studies Harmony Center saw forty young people including Journalists and Hashtag Generation being given a tour of the mosque as well as enjoy other cultural features that are part of mosque tours including being presented with their names in beautiful Arabic calligraphy and served with traditional Muslim foods.
Asiff Hussein, Vice President, CIS Harmony Centre said that now that the Covid situation has been considerably contained, they hoped to start small group tours limited to groups of 25-50 persons on a regular fortnightly basis.
