With new evidence surfacing that the San Bernardino shooters may have been connected to the Islamic State group, the distinction between radical terrorist ideology and peaceful religion is more important to draw than ever before.

Dutch YouTubers Dit is Normaal sought to draw attention to "scrutiny" of Islam.

They took a Bible, highlighted a few particularly gruesome passages, and covered it in a book jacket that said "The Holy Quran."

They took to the streets and read the passages to passersby, who grimaced and scowled when they thought the passages came from the Quran; when they're told the passages are actually from the Bible, they are shocked, even emotional.

"If you reject my commands and abhor my laws, you will eat the flesh of your own sons, and the flesh of your own daughters," they read. "I do not allow for a woman to teach … You will have to cut off her hand … Do not forgive her."
