Jezima Ismail,former principal of Muslim Ladies College honoured on her 91st birthday

COLOMBO : A well-known educationist and one-time principal of Muslim Ladies College Jezima Ismail was felicitated by a group of her past pupils and well-wishers on her 91st birthday, on Sunday, September 21.

Fawaza Thaha, president of the YWMA, said her remarkable leadership and dedication to education have profoundly impacted countless Muslim girls at Muslim Ladies College, leaving a lasting legacy.

“ Her principalship was a Golden Era of the college and her yeoman services truly captured the hearts of parents,students and well-wishers of the college, ” Thaha who was the former Vice President of the college Past Pupils Association said.

Besides Thaha, those visited Ismail, included Mrs reneza, Mrs Nawas ( teachers ) and retired teacher Mrs Fareedha Imthiyaz, Rehana, well wishers, friends and family members pictures by Infaz
