Sailan Muslim Foundation condemn NZ incident

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the attack which took place on the 3rd of September in Auckland, New Zealand. We are shocked and saddened to hear that the perpetrator of this dastardly act is of Sri Lankan origin and his inhumane act was driven by what is reported as an ISIS deviant extremist ideology.

Sailan Muslim Foundation reject and condemn ISIS deviant extremist ideology, which   has hijacked the beautiful religion of Islam that promotes peace, love, compassion, justice, moderation, and respect to all.

We really appreciate the statement of the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern which states: “It was hateful, it was wrong, it was carried out by an individual, not a faith, ethnicity or culture. He alone carries the responsibility for these acts.” These are amazing leadership qualities which promotes love, justice and impartiality. We also commend and appreciate the people of New Zealand for having displayed tolerance, compassion and communal harmony.:

We pray for the protection and safety of all people living around the world. “May Allah protect humanity from the acts of extremists and all forms of evils and bless this world with lasting peace and prosperity”.
