Imad Iqbal – A student at Victoria Park CI, Imad is thrilled to be carrying the Torch from York Mills CI along York Mills to Bayview Avenue on Dec. 17. A strong academic student, he is highly engaged in learning and a valuable member of the community, both inside and outside of school. Last year, Imad was stricken with cancer and he was forced to concentrate on his health instead of his education and volunteer activities. His courage and strength of character are a great example of how powerful the human spirit can be in the face of adversity
