YWMA distributes Barath food packs for the needy

COLOMBO : The Young Women’s Muslim Association, YWMA, distributed Barath food  packs ahead of the holy month of Ramadan for the needy at the Niyas Moulavi Foundation at Peer saibo street. 

Moulavi Lameer Director of the foundation emphasized the value of Barath practices 

in modern era, 

YWMA President Fawaza Thaha spoke a  few words on Barath and explained the traditional customs practiced by parents and grandparents 

Khalid Farook patron of the Alliance of the All-Ceylon  YMMA Conference  and Mohammed Rasooldeen chief editor Colombo Times and members of  the YWMA were also àpresent at the function
