On Sunday, February 1, thousands of Muslim and non-Muslim women from around the world will wear hijab to mark what is internationally known as World Hijab Day. The event, planned for the second consecutive year, is aimed to shed light on hijab as a human right for Muslim women. It also serves as a protest call against Islamophobia and targeted discrimination.

This folder offers a review of the most important stories covered by OnIslam.net, about international campaigns for hijab, non-Muslims showing support to the Islamic headwear and some of the related events around the globe.
