for G.C.E. (A/L) 2013 – 2015 Batch

 

Zahira College which is the Premier Educational Institution for boys in Sri Lanka will be offering two and tier free Admission Scholarships to eminently qualified O/L students to pursue their studies in a very conducive environment.  For this purpose, the Board of Governors of Zahira College Colombo has completely refurbished the Senior Hostel to provide up to date accommodation, study facilities, Prayer Room etc., within the College Campus, where qualified Tutors too would be resident to provide the necessary assistance.

 

Depending on each student’s requirements, either totally free Scholarships which include Board & Lodging, Tuition and Text Books or Board & Lodging plus Tuition only will be offered depending on the student’s qualifications and the personal circumstances.

 

The Scholarships will be offered for students who have achieved more than 6 As (including A for Science and Mathematics) at the GCE O/L 2012 Examinations and who wish to study in the following streams:

 

                  Stream                                     Medium

§  Science (Physics, Chemistry,Biology)                 Sinhala/Tamil/English

 

§  Maths (Combined Maths, Physics,Chemistry)      Sinhala/Tamil/English

                  

 

Students being to all three denominations with the required qualifications may apply. Walking interviews will be held from 27^th April 2013 to 30^th April 2013 from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm be present with self prepared application with all the Original relevant certificates for the interview to held at the Principal’s Office.
