39th International Qur’an Competition Organised by Islamic Republic of Iran – Sri Lankan Wins

We take great pleasure in congratulating Al- Hafizhah, Al-Qariah Nuha Nuhuman, who represented Sri Lanka at the International Qur’anic Recital Competition in the Thartheel Category that took place in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and secured the 6th position.

Nuha is the daughter of Moulavi Nuhuman and also the great granddaughter of Mufthi AbulHassan Aalim & Saadul Fuada (Saaduma) Izzadeen.

It’s a commendable achievement to note that she won over the much stronger candidates from Malaysia & Indonesia who have, previously, been champions in this context.
