An online system has been introduced by the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) to get information on the type of fuel that is available at the nearest filling station.
They requested people to visit the website (https://fuel.gov.lk/) before getting into queues.
People can gain access to information about the availability of bowsers and dispatch on petrol, diesel and kerosene.
All the relevant information will be uploaded to the website by the CPSTL by 9:00 am daily and the time will be shown in 24-hour clock format, they said.
The search results are given only for filling stations with pumping capacity or about a fuel bowser is dispatched, the CPSTL said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
